The Ketoprofen is a anti-inflammatory (same class as ibuprofen and other NSAID's). Lidocaine is an anesthetic. It is used to lose feeling in the skin and surrounding areas for temporary relief. Baclofen is a muscle relaxer. topically it is helps to relax the muscle group in the area applied.
If the last ingredient is guaifenesin, the preliminary studies that show it can increase the effect of ketoprofen. In this case it is used topically for pain. It is a great alternative to opioids. The great thing about compounds is that systemic absorption is minimized and doesn't have the side effects as much as you get with oral medications. We do quite a lot of these types of medications at my pharmacy. If you have any other questions on compounds or pain therapy medications feel free to contact me.
