I have been in pain for 6 + years and my doctor has me on keppra to treat pain is my doctor wrong???

I had hernia surgery more than 6 years ago and it feels like I have a knife in my belly and every now and then it feels like it is being twisted and pushed in further my doc. tried lyrica "an anti seizure med" and that did not work.so now she put me on keppra which is also an anti seizure med. and it don't seem to work either ...... any ideas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? plez help !!!!
