I've been on ms contin for seven years. My current dose is 400mg/daily;however, my doctor has switched me to kadians' (400mg) but it does not last the needed 24hr period,
Did your doctor provide you with an immediate release or breakthrough tablet? That's what that is intended for until your body gets use to the change in medications. Be sure to call your doctor and let them know you are having trouble keep the communication lines open, they want to know. With a little time I think your body will adjust to the new meds, I know that's not what you'd care to hear when you are hurting. Just know I will be thinking about you as I'm changing my meds too and I hurt terribly also. We've got to hang tight we pain warriors. Bless you and good luck!
