Is it advisable to give it to a patient of stage IV cancer in order to decrease the effects of peripheral neuropathy caused by chemotherapy drugs (Pacitaxel + Carboplatin)
I suggest the patient contacts Hospice. They will provide the medications needed to keep the patient comfortable. Be it morphine or whatever. There is not a problem with medications if the person is approaching end of life. And should the person recover or go into remission, they can leave the program and continue with treatments.
