I have been taking the loratab for arthritis in my back. Is it harmful to the baby? Has anyone else had to deal with this. What do i do? I don't want to harm the baby and doctors appoint is not for another week. UGH HELP!
You should call and ask your doctor to be on the safe side. I know that woman can take percocet and vicodin while they are pregnant if its absolutely mandatory to control their pain. It is possible for the baby to be born addicted to the medicine and could experience some withdrawals afterbirth. I myself took tylenol 3's the last 4 weeks of my 3rd pregnancy because my pubic bone/ligament had split 4cm. I had no problems with my son at all. In fact he was actually my best baby out of all 3. I wouldn't worry to much but I would call your doctors just to check and see if norcos are ok. I think they are pretty similar to vicodin just without all the tylenol. Ive only been prescribed norco's once and I didnt really like them. Hope everything works out and CONGRATS on the new baby!!!
