This only happens if you're addicted to opiates. What happens is this, your (for lack of a better term) opiate receptorsw in your brain only accept endorphin licke molecules so it's like fitting the right key into a lock and opening it. Buprenorphene is whats known as a partial agonist opiate. It also has the strongest affinity to the opiate receptors, so if you are already on suboxone and you take heroin, the heroin bounces off the suboxone and is wasted. When you are not taking suboxone and you are a heroin or morphine ect addict and you take suboxone the suboxone knocks off all the other opiates off the receptors and you go into precipatated withdrawls...
