Somehow I ended up with an ingrown nail on my thumb. It is discolored and very, very painful. Will using Jublia help? I really don't want to have the nail pulled, but I am so done with the pain.
I also had a fingernail infection called Onycholysis and was prescribed Jublia. It was way too strong and I had severe side effects like swelling and burning. I have three unopened bottles left and had to pay $3500 for this 90 day supply which I am trying to find out how I can get a refund and return this product. I tried the drug store where I bought them and they won't refund my money. I now have a call into my Dr (dermatologist) to find out why she even prescribed this very expensive medicine for my fingernail infection when it specifically states it is for toenails. It was a new drug that just got approved by the FDA and I am sure all the medical Dermatology offices were promoting it as they probably get kickbacks on their sales of new drugs. Especially expensive medicine like this Jublia that my health insurance did not even cover. I even tried to get a authorization to cover it but most insurance companies won't cover a new drug that is this expensive and has no generic form! I am very upset as I want my money back and I am not sure how to get it?
