I have been taking one 8 mg a day..
Nobody is very right, you have to taper off, I never know why someone wants to quit and I apologize for not asking. There has been an explosion of subs question both on the main site and the private questions I receive. I don't mind helping, but there were so many, my answers were unusually brief for me. Please list why you want to quit. If you have heard or read some horror stories about being addicted to it and having a hard time coming off, if you reduce your dose now, and give the therapy you should be receiving while on subs a chance to work, you will likely recover fine. If you skip the therapy and get off subs, you will almost 100% relapse. If you taper off, you will be fine, but without the therapy, relapse is a very high possibility. people who taper off properly are fine, those who jump off at high doses, are not, but in your case, the wd younwould feel would be from your previous opiate. Do NOT read or focus on subs horror stories.
Those who write them have done something very wrong in their treatment, they skipped the therapy, they quit too soon, they ignored the dr and therapists advice and winged their own taper, they jumped at too high a dose or taper way to quickly.
