Should my hair be shaved or just cut down to a stubble? Directions say use it on skin. Does not address Skin under hair.
I wouldn't do anything drastic just yet. Its possible to part your hair and rub in the part, then part it somewhere else all around your head. Rub it in as good as you can. If this doesn't work for you, then cutting might be an option. If you don't understand, watch a cosmetologist color someones hair, they part it the way I'm saying.
Dear TBird, NO, you don't have to cut or shave your hair. Have someone else, who is wearing gloves ( not sure if the condition causing the itch, is contagious in your case) use a rat tail comb, to section the hair off, and rub the cream into just the scalp. You can try to do it yourself, also, but it may be easier if someone else puts it on for you. If this is a contagious condition, you risk spreading it by shaving your hair. It is probably best to just keep the infected area as small as possible. The hair actually protects the scalp, so leave the hair alone, just put the cream on the scalp. Patti
