Ask your doctor before taking a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for pain, arthritis, fever, or swelling. This includes aspirin, celecoxib, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and others, and others. Using an NSAID with citalopram may cause you to bruise or bleed easily.
I've taken Celexa for years and have never had a food interaction or reaction from it. However, with any of these mental illness medications they all work so differently on each person, you never know what the effects will be. If Celexa is the problem then there are so many different kinds of meds out there that might work better for you! Best of Luck!
