Due to certain stomach problems and other medications I am on the OC 80 tablets are the only ones that do not make me vomit and cause severe stomach pain! My family physician and Hemotologist Specialist have said these are the only ones I can take! Is there a way to still get this kind of Oxycontin XR tablets?
Yes, nothing has changed with the active ingredients with the Oxycontin ER. The OC is being phased out and replaced with OP (oxycontin Purdue) which can not be crushed and abused. So when a pharmacy reorders OC, they will automatically get the OP version. Unless you crush and abuse this medication, you have nothing to worry about.
