Valium, diazepam, is in a group of drugs called benzodiazepines. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety.
Valium is used in the management of anxiety disorders. It may also be used to treat agitation, shakiness, and hallucinations during alcohol withdrawal and to relieve certain types of muscle pain.
Bentyl, dicyclomine, relieves spasms of the muscles in the stomach and intestines by blocking the actions of certain chemicals in the body.
Dicyclomine is used to treat functional bowel or irritable bowel syndrome.

I am on Bentyl (20mg 4x's/day) and sometimes Imodium isn't enough, would anaspaz be considered then?
