is the ultracet better at relieving pain than tramadol 50 mg?
Ultracet contains a combination of tramadol and acetaminophen. It only contains 37.5mg of Tramadol so Tramadol 50mg is probably stronger - despite the addition of acetaminophen.
Tramadol is a centrally acting analgesic and produces similar effects to narcotic pain relievers (opiate). Currently, tramadol is not considered a controlled substance or a narcotic/opiate by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). However, this medication has significant potential for abuse.
