I am sorry I was on a website for Cardizem so I assumed that you would know, again the drug is Cardizem and my daughter takes it for a rapid pulse.
I looked up the medication and there is a warning regarding pregnancy. Please consult with your doctor for additional information. I hope it all goes well for you! My best wishes..
"Before using Cardizem":
Some medical conditions may interact with Cardizem. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
if you have heart failure or have had a recent heart attack with lung congestion, heart block, low blood pressure, a very slow heart rate, or abnormal heart rhythm
if you have kidney or liver disease
Cardizem and Pregnancy Category C
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) uses a category system to classify the possible risks to a fetus when a specific medicine is taken during pregnancy. Pregnancy Category C is given to medicines that have not been studied in pregnant humans but that do appear to cause harm to the fetus in animal studies. Also, medicines that have not been studied in any pregnant women or animals are automatically given a pregnancy Category C rating.
Talk to your doctor for more information on safety issue for the fetus.-
