And if so where can they be obtained?
I got mine thru Medco. It is our mail-order pharmacy thru my medical insurance. It cost $10,000. for a 90 day supply. Ridiculous! My med's got changed to Sprycel. I gave my 90supply to a free clinic. Illegal I know, but couln't throw that much money away. Try Novartis for some help. They make Gleevec. They give a little price break if you don't have insurance or cannot afford it. Also try Leukemia & Lymphoma society (lls.org )Look on the home page for a tab that says Financial Support. They will give up to $5000. I think depending on your Financial situation & if you have insurance. I wish you luck! Have you looked into a drug trial? They have drug trials page on that web site too. You never know-someone might be doing a drug trial on Gleevec, or Sprycel or Tsigna. Also try their community page & ask that ?. You have to sign in on the home page & also make a password & your e-mail. Then you have to do it all over again on the community pages. Go to the CML community page & you can ask a ?. Or if u don't have CML they have all the different kinds of Leukemia they use Gleevec for. This didn't exactly answer your ? but I hope I gave you some hope & help
