i work as commercial driver and have a herniated disc ,need somrthing that i can drive on,and is dot approved
Yes, there is. I have worked for many years driving a car. I found the Sacro Ease Car Seat. I have looked and looked and not found anything like it. You should have it bent for your back.
One man I spoke to, was using it and he was going to have to give up his hobby because it required much driving. But with this special car seat he was able to drive from Michigan to California with little problems. You can only get this at a place that strictly sells hospital and orthopedic supplies.
Wishing you many happy and comfortable drives.
I'd recommend gabapentin which is similar to lyrica, but it is much cheaper. It is on the $4 list at Hy Vee and probably Wal Mart or Target. I'd also recommend Cymbalta. I realize this is prescribed most commonly as a depression medication, but it can do wonders for pain. It has been commonly used for that as well. I was on it, and it helped a lot for me. It can cause some memory fog as I call it making new things harder to remember.
