I was wondering if anyone found an improvement with their condition?
I never heard of the drug so my curiousity peaked and I was surprised to find out that it is a SSRI and NNRI or basically they use it to treat depression in Europe. I am a firm believer in this and this was told to me by a very wise doctor, never take a new drug unless your life is dependant on it. It takes over 20 years to know all the effects that a drug will have on the whole population. I truly believe that, if you look at the past 10 years and how many drugs have been pulled off the market its amazing to me to think that a pharmaceutical company can spend 20 million on formulating a drug and testing it and when it hits the market they make what they spent on it in a month. That is true and tried in the pharmeceutical world, I know I am off topic but watch out for high bp and shortness of breath and high pulse rates. Some people swear by it and others have had these types of reactions along with suicidal idealation. How is it working for you. I just dont believe in taking new meds unless absolutely needed. I hope it helps and doesnt sound too negative.let me know
I have been taking it for about 4 months now for fibromyalgia. I love it! The only side effect I have is trouble sleeping sometimes. I have started taking my evening dose earlier in the evening and that seems to have helped. I have more enegy and it is so much easier to get out of bed in the morning. It has decreased my aches and pains greatly. It was approved by the FDA in January 2010. However, it has been studied for quite some time. My doctor has been following it since it was first invented. I trust her completely. Having said that, of course different people react to different medications in different ways. If you start to have any negative feelings, emotional or physical, you should contact your physician. Also though, I think that sometimes poeple don't give some medications a chance because of minor side effects. Lots of times, if you just give it a week or two those side effects will go away and the positive will outweigh the negative. I hope this helps! Good luck!
