I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome, I have a dr. apt on wednesday the 23rd, and was needing to know if there was any questions that i may need to ask my physcian.
Now that you know you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, you may have become more aware of any symptoms you have had due to this syndrome. You can ask your doctor how they may be able to treat the symptoms, if you have any.
Some people who have this syndrome may not experience major symptoms. Some people experience a lot of symptoms and perhaps the worst is infertility.
People who experience infertility perhaps have the hardest time, but there is a lot of ways to help infertility now. Discuss all these with your physician.
If you are planning to have children and can't get pregnant naturally in a short time, then I suggest you get help as soon as possible because sometimes fertility treatments may take time. Your doctor will definitely guide you, just let him/her know of your plans.
The link below should give you a bit more information about the disease.
