is there problem in the 1st trimester of pregnancy with guifenocin or septra being used in female with a severy case of bronchitis?
Guaifenesin is in the FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it is not known whether guaifenesin will harm an unborn baby. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant. Usually it is not recommended to take any medicines in the 1st trimester of pregnancy
