I've used antibotic eyedrops many times. I don't like using them.
The best treatment for blepharitis is just a good lid hygeine program. Get some no tear baby shampoo and put a few drops of shampoo in a half a cup of warm water. Dip a q-tip into the shampoo and water mixture and clean carefully along the lash line. Rinse with warm water, pat dry. Do this routine 2-3 times a day and you will find a big improvement. They do have commercially prepared eye cleansing wipes but they can be expensive to use several times a day so save those to use when you are unable to do the baby shampoo and water cleanse, like if you are at work during the day you might use a cleansing pad mid day. Antibiotic eye drops should not be used on a daily basis long term.
