Menopause increases your risk of developing a UTI (urinary tract infection)
The drop in your estrogen levels during menopause causes your bladder to become less elastic. You may be unable to completely empty your bladder, which can allow for the growth of bacteria and the development of a UTI.
Estring may help balance your estrogen level and help alleviate recurrent UTI's.
