For the past month I've been on Focalin XR 10mg caps. I take it in the morning but its been giving me headaches. I get migraine and the med seems to help jump start my usual headaches. I went to my primary physician for the headaches and she asked me what meds i have been on and I tolder the Focalin is fairly new. So she wants me to ask my therapist if thre is any other med for my ADHD that will not give me headaches. I dont go til next week amd was wondering if anyone could tell me what i (could) be prescribed. This way I could have a headstart in understanding before I see the therapist n she changes the med asking me to try a new one. Please any and all comments are appreciated. Thanx
Is there a med that helps with ADHD that will not attribute to headaches ?

- focalin, focalin xr, migraine, headache, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd), cryopyrin-associated periodic syndromes, auditory processing disorder
Other medications you could try include:
Concerta (long acting Ritalin)
Adderall XR or immediate release
Daytrana (a patch that delivers ritalin throughout the day)
Vyvanse (active ingredient is Dexedrine... the highest dose, 70mg, contains 20mg of Dexedrine)
