Is there an expiry date on prescription drugs? How long are they good for?

Yes, all prescription medicines have an expiry date. All the original bottles, boxes or packets should have the batch number and an expiry date. If you have the batch number and the expiry date is missing you can call the manufacturer and find out what the expiry date is for a particular batch of medicine.
