My name is Cody, im an eighteen year old male and i just graduated this past year. when i was in school i started taking percocets when i first started i would only take about 10mg for the pain, then it started to increase iv been on them for almost two years now and im having a serious problem getting off them and i really do not want to go to rehab, i have been taking about 40mg a day now. and when i don't have them i feel awful such as headache legs hurt, my whole body feels terrible, and the main problem is i cant sleep!!! if i could get my self down to 10mg of percocets a day is that still bad for you?? i would appreciate all the help a can get right now i really dont know what to do with my self..
well i started at a young age due to a back injury,i am now 29 and still on pain pills.i can tell you that you have to realy want to get off of them or you will jus play games with yourself.you def need to ween yourself down slowly from 40mg to 35mg. like 5mg a week and then see how your feeling.it might take longer than a week its all on how you feel then keep going down five at a time until your to where your on 5mg if you can handle just 5 mg then you can get off of them.if not dont be afraid to get help
I am so sorry... You were under 18 and your parents must had agreeded to let you on this drug. Your doctor knew better and now you got stuck with the problem.I would like to commend you that your realize that this is a real problem. Being on drugs is not life. You are in the prime of your life headed no where.
One suggestion since you do not want rehab, you might give Suboxone a try.You go into the doctor's office in partial withdrawls. You will go through the withdrawls right in the office. No over night, none of this.
Only some doctors can prescribe (under DEA) this medication. Go to the naabt.org web page and you can register there and find a doctor in your area.
I have seen this work, and what I have seen is wonderful. I know everyone is
unique, and I hope this works for you.
I wish you the life you deserve, (health and happiness)
hey budddy i can identify with you i was takeing 20-25 lorcet 10s a day and i could not get off of them because i didnt want to go through withdrawl then i came across this web site www.turntohelp.com it is a site for suboxone sounds like you need to go to this site and find a dr in your area.im telling you this medication works great..when i first went to the doc i was in withdrawl, then he gave me a half of suboxone and after 30 min i felt better then he gave me the other half and within an hour i was not feeling any withdrawls.and now i have been clean for 4 months and man i have had a longtime habit allmost 12 years.if you trully want to get better you should try this it has saved my life so dude i wish you all the luck the balls in your court now.good luck.oh yea this is not a rehab you go to the dr and get the script and you see him once a month..the reason i said you have to find a dr,is bacause only drs who get training to prescribe this can do it..so on this site you type in your zip code and it will list the drs in your are or close by who can prescribe it..good luck
