If I wanted to be drug free is Subutex and Suboxone the same in its degree of withdrawal? Does anyone share the sleepness involved with either of the above drugs? I am on subutex right now and it's less expensive than both suboxone and methadone, but want to get off of it entirely. Thanks!

If you taper the subutex down slowly so your brain and body can stabilize, then will have minimal symptoms including rls and insomnia. I used an low dose amitriptyline toward the very end of my taper off suboxone and it helped but also walking for exercise seemed to control insomnia and rls for me when I got to the very bottom of my taper off.
