It bears the code ZA2023. I just want to make sure this is really simvastatin and not a mistake by the pharmacist since before now, this was always a pink pill.
Pill imprint ZA 23 has been identified as Simvastatin 80mg.
Simvastatin is used in the treatment of high cholesterol; high cholesterol, familial heterozygous; hyperlipoproteinemia type iia, elevated ldl; high cholesterol, familial homozygous; hyperlipoproteinemia (and more), and belongs to the drug class statins. Not for use in pregnancy.
Simvastatin 80 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
Please double check the imprint on the tab & be sure its the same, please, however please double check it also with your doc/pharmacist.
