I am 19 years old, and was diagnosed with Endometriosis two months ago. I was on depo provera for 6 months before I missed my shot. (It was scheduled too late). Because I went away to school I couldn't get a shot for another two months. Over the course of the two months being off of Depo, I was doubled over in pain with headaches, nausea, painful urination, bowel movement, and fevers. Since I was diagnosed, the doctors put me back on depo provera, I am not in as much pain, but I am still in a lot of pain, in some areas the pain has gotten worse. What should I do? I still want to be able to have children one day, It's all I've ever wanted.
I am in the same boat as you,i was just diagnosed with endo few weeks back.
Im already on depo provera for the last 2 years,i went on it after having my son because i didnt want to get pregnant again for a while.Iv been reading up that it is used also to treat endo which i personally cant see how as i'm in so much pain at the moment.I dont get a period and only have break through bleed every few months but the pain is still unreal. Im waiting to have laprascopy to see what stage its at and how severe it is.I also want more kids definitley but i dont know what treatments help endo,i know it cant be cured but dont know whats out there to make it more bearable.
If you've any ideas post me.
