I have heard from several sources that OPs are no longer being manufactured and that the old OC pills are being manufactured again. Is this this the truth, or is it just a rumor?
Is oxycontin coming back on the market to replace OPs?
Added 11 Jun 2011:
I heard that this is happening because of the overwhelming complaint that the old OC pills were more effective for pain relief than the new OPs, and that the new OPs have more negative side effects. I think this is just a rumor because I've only heard it through other patients. I haven't found a reliable source to confirm this. Has anyone heard anything?
I have not heard of the change allthough I would like to see that happening. I get my oxycontin directly from Purdue 60 10 mg op's everymonth for free. I think they would have told me if they were switching back. But I sure likes the OC's better!!! If anyone knows any differnt pleeeeease let me know!!!
