I was recently prescribed this drug but I am hesitant to take it because of random drug tests at work. Does this drug show up like a xanax or valium would?
When you are legally prescribed a medication, if you come up positive for the medication on a drug test, that is ok, you are legal to take it. It is when someone does NOT have a legal prescription that is within a reasonable date that a person would get into trouble for coming up positive. If you ever do come up positive for something you know you didn't take, ask to take another test from a different batch of drug tests or offer to give a blood sample. We see on here all the time that people come up positive for medications they did not take or negative for medicine they do take. Drug tests can be flawed, if you come up with a false positive on a test, the whole batch may be flawed. I mention this because it does happen and people need to know what to do if they have a false positive or negative test.
