... Prescripition filled, but I have not been able to
No, I haven't heard of it being back on the market here in Maryland. Anyone else been able to get it? It's quite a conundrum - google Midrin and read about how it and all Generics of of it have been on perpetual backorder. It's too bad - Midrin was very effective at times for my migraines. I'd love to hear if anyone else has been able to find it?
8/1/2011. Last Friday a Walgreens pharmacist told me that they had received a generic for Midrin in the past week. it is called Migrazone and has the same ingredients as Midrin. I'm calling my doctor this morning to see if they will call in a prescription for it. I just went through hell the past 4 days dealing with a horrible headache and/or migraine. I can never tell what I am having! I've been so lost without Midrin. My doc has me trying Phrenilin, but it is way too sedating for me. And it did not seem to work at all on the headache.
Give your pharmacist a call about Migrazone and see if they have it in yet.
Midrin has been discontinued from the manufacturer but you can still get them at Northbay Family Compounding Pharmacy (NBFCP dot com). Have your doctor call us at 707-421-1117 along with your information. Someone at the Pharmacy will contact you and then mail out your RX to your home. Call us if you have any questions.
