In the case of an allergic reaction for which an Epipen is prescribed, is it safe to use it if the expiration date is expired?
No medication is safe to take after the expiry date, that is why they have and expiration date on them, they lose there effectiveness and some can become toxic.- You do not want to take any chances with your health.-
So I suggest you dispose of them safely, do not flush them, please take them to your local pharmacy for them to dispose of this expired medication safely.
