I am taking 4mg of Subs daily and recently I've been having anxiety and depression issues and my doctor gave me Zoloft... But I'm kinda scared to mix it with my suboxone.. Anyone know or have experience with these to medications? Thanks-stuckonsubs
I am not on Zoloft (ssri: Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) however I am on Cymbalta (Norephinephrine / serotonin reuptake inhibitor) as well as Amitriptyline (Tricyclic - Tertiary Amine). All of these medications are in the anti-depressant family. If your doctor is aware of your suboxone treatment and also put you on the Zoloft I would not worry. If it would put your mind at ease, you can always discuss it with your doctor or your pharmacist when you go to have it filled.
I hope this helped,
Are they both brand new to your system? I know a person who takes xanax .25 mgs 6 times per day and zoloft 100 mgs at night . Plus he is on suboxone. Many nights he also takes Ambien. DR says the dose is low and does not have a problem. he has been taking for many months.
I also have personal experience and have not have had any problems.
It is perfectly fine to take the two together... God Bless. Pup
Thanks everybody for the helpful answers!! -stuck
