Tritace 25 MG.contains also a diuretic
From what I could find Tritace contains ramipril (which is not a diuretic).
Ramipril is in a group of drugs called ACE inhibitors. ACE stands for angiotensin converting enzyme.
Ramipril is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) or congestive heart failure, and to improve survival after a heart attack.
Capoten (captopril) is ALSO an ACE inhibitor. Capoten is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), congestive heart failure, kidney problems caused by diabetes, and to improve survival after a heart attack.
Tritace and Capoten belong to the same class of medicine so should not be used together.
