Yes it is possible. I attended group addiction therapy and almost all the other patients were taking at least 30 lortabs per day or more, one guy admitted to 90. Lortab is almost the same as vicodin and of course many people also took a benzo so they could sleep later. Whomever took these vicodin and benzos is in extreme danger, not only from an OD, but liver toxicity, seizure, and accidents that might occur because they are impaired.
Hi Lucinda... these drugs have a huge ability to build more receptor sites therefore a person who is addicted can conceivably take what might kill the average person who takes nothing... so I think the answer would be yes, depending on his tolerance... as patti said... this is still very dangerous because the acetaminophen in the Vicodin can cause liver toxicity... not a very smart thing to do..l.i hope that your friend is still with the living...
