Is it ok to take prozac and bystolic at the same time?

They can be taken together but with caution. Limited clinical data suggest that selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs - Prozac) may potentiate the pharmacologic effects of some beta-blockers (Bystolic) and patient needs to be monitored.

During concomitant therapy with SSRIs, a lower initial dosage and more cautious titration of the beta-blocker may be appropriate.
