m522 is oxycodone/acetaminophen combination. Basically the equivalent to a 5mg Percocet-5mg oxycodone and 325mg acetaminophen. Oxycodone can have some effects on the developing newborn but sometimes if the benefits of treating pain in the mother outweigh the risks, the Drs will go ahead and let a pregnant woman use the medication. Was this prescribed to you? Did the prescriber know you were pregnant? it is always best not to take anything while you are pregnant unless you absolutely need it and even then it should be used in the smallest effective amount. I would be sure that before you take anything, you should clear it with your OB-GYN first.
