i started on the fist and i should have my period by now which its the 18th and i am always on time... does it change the date of my period?
It is normal for periods to vary a few days here and there. Few women are exactly every 28days. If you are usually at the beginning, middle, or end of the month, your days will alter because each month has a different amount of days. If this is the first year of your cycle it takes a while for your body to normalize. It is not unusualy in the first year to skip a month or so. If you are worried about pregnancy there are some pregnancy tests that are accurate the day your period is due and some a couple of days earlier( read the label ). Always practice safe sex if active (condems and only water soluble lubricants like KY jelly). There are many things that can affect the reguarity of your cycle like, long periods of stress (physical or mental). Sudden drastic drop in weight. I hope this is helpful. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questons... espicially if I wasn't clear. Penny
