I am 30yo with bicuspid aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation and suffered a Tia with MRI showing an embolism. I have low to regular blood pressure with clean arteries and no known arrhythmia. The doctor tells me chances for embolism is higher with aortic stenosis whether it came from a clot on the valve or a piece of calcification. 15years ago I also had a balloon procedure which I hear could result in scratches that allow for calcification. Anyone experience this, have more information, or have advice on the chances of reoccurrence? I am on daily aspirin now.
