He has not been diagnosed with bipolar, schizophrenia, or depression. He just has aggitation/aggression at school. Is this medication appropriate for him?
Hello. My husband takes Abilify for his agigtation and it works for him however I do not believe it is good for a six year old to take. Check out Abilify.com. I think the patient has to be 18. Also ask your doctor. I hope this helps.
i'm really not sure if these dr's aren't using our babies for lab rats i don't think they suggest giving abliify to someone that young i took it to get me out of bed and for energy this little boy can't sit still and is aggressive believe me go by what you and your dr have prescribed for your son but i myself would be getting a second opinion. missy

Yes this medicine is approved for children and teens, with the same symptoms you describe. I would hope it will give you some relief.
in my opinion i dont think it is right to put a 6 yearold on an antiphyscotic..and i think i read it was for no one under 18.in other words it has not been tested on children
