I am being treated for depression and chronic pain.
Hey bethanne r,
The following link decribes any interaction between these medications:
You need to be aware of the potential problems. You are fine to take the hydrocodone with the Cymbalta as long as you take as prescribed and no more than. The Advil I would stay away from with the Cymbalta as it could cause a bleeding episode with prolonged use. Best to just take the hydrocodone for pain if at all possible.
Hope this helps,
advil has ibuprofen in it and is an nsaid drug it is a good medication Laurie is just telling you the more of it you take the greater chance of a side effect such as gastrointestinal bleeding is possible and if possible its better to use the hydrocodone used as directed by your physician, I had an injury and Advil tends to relieve some types of pain better but my physician says the older you are the greater the risk of abdominal problems when using advil on an regular basis.
