I am taking it for severe lichen planus.
Is your lichen planus on your skin or is it oral? Cellucept was offered to me, but I am still thinking about it, considering I am still dealing with the side effects of prednisone. Heard there is possible kidney damage with Cellucept, and since I already have Type 1 diabetes (47years), I don't want to risk my kidneys unless this stuff works. Would appreciate knowing if it worked for you or not.
I am taking it for Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH). I tried AZA and could not take that, then took Mercaptopurine (6mp) for over 3 months, which didn't work. I just started CellCept. Side effects seem to be less for me so far then the 6mp, but I eventually have to get to 1000 mgs. I have also been on prednisone since June 2nd - started at 60 mg, tapered down to 20 mg, but had to go back up to 35 mgs along with Cellcept.
sue, been taking prednisone for 2.5 years my new nuerologist just put me on cellcept 5 weeks ago and will soon have me reduce prednisone 10mg to none. i was diagnost with myasthinea gravis.took4 mo.&$10,000.00 before sent to nuerologist to figure out why eye wandered&could not lift weights.had no adverse effects from cellcept so far&and hope to be off prednisone.I CAN'T SLEEP. p.s. r.hand is swelling a bit i hope it was a spider bite not cellcept ,have hed no complaints
