Since they switched from the old formula to the new formula of Oxycotin I have had to take alot of antacids.Because I wake up in the middle of the night and have stomach acid in my mouth, its almost like the flap in my stomach doesn't close all the way. Also if I take the new formula and don't take any antacids before taking the Oxycotin the next day I wake up throwing up and have a severe headache.I also noticed that after I take the medication if I drink a glass of milk its almost like my heartburn goes away for a little while, but it does not relieve the heartb urn completly.
Is anyone else having problems/issues with taking the formula of Oxycotin?

Yes, I had to go off it. The side effects were not worth it. since the change I have not found a medication that works like the old oxycontin. The best is the short acting oxyir it still works the same. that new formula near put me in the hospital with stomach and bowel problems not to mention that I was not getting the full dose I felt like I was in withdrawl. BAD Medicine now.
