Metformin is indicated for type 2 diabetes, hope this helps?
Makosol, Metformin comes in 500mg is that what your on? It is usually the starting dose for Type 2 Diabetes most of the time, it is not a high dose though and some of the side effects are nausea, gas, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, metallic taste in your mouth and of course hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). These may not be the only ones for you but are the main ones and also ones that I have experienced. I had to change my meds to another but not everyone reacts the same, alot of people have been helped by this drug for their diabetes so good luck and hope I helped some, marjorie zych
