... it. He was also diagnosed with high cholestrol (over 1000 triglyceride). Within two weeks he was told he also had diabetes and the dr gave him Ivocana (from his office , not from a pharmacist). That was Tuesday. By Saturday he felt so bad, he stopped taking the ivocana and just kept the bloodpressure medicine. Called the doctor Monday and went in on Tuesday for a blood test. Dr. said well call with tresults and tell you what to take again. Never called. Saturday evening, he staryts shaking , gets a fever, pees blood and I take him to emergency. He is admitted to the hospital with sepsis. the sepsis was caused by a urinary infection. I feel the doctor was at fault because of the diuretic, the high cholestrol and such... am I right?

I have since read many articles on ivokana, one of the bullets says "Do not give to patients with high cholestrol, Do not take with diuretic. Because the doctor gave him bottles from his office that were not obtained by a pharmacist, I beleive the doctor wasnt educated enough on the medicine
