Six months ago I had a calcium screening. The scan picked up an aneurysm of the ascending aorta 4.6 cm.
My cardiologist wanted a more focused scan of the heart so he ordered a CTA of the Chest. The results showed the following.IMPRESSION:
1. Fusiform enlargement of the ascending aorta proximal aortic arch as described. No acute abnormality identified. Other findings as described.
