MAJOR INTERACTIONS: citalopram <--> asenapine; potassium chloride <--> lisinopril; albuterol (Proventil HFA) <--> citalopram; oxybutynin <--> potassium chloride There are also quite a few moderate interactions with the medication I am taking.
Hi, i agree. If you are concerned about interactions between your medications, talk to your doctor/psychiatrist. I do want to add though, that if all of your medications have been prescribed by the same person, or with full knowledge of your medical history, you should be fine. I am taking a lot of different medications which have potentially dangerous interaction risks associated, & i am just fine. My doctor believes the benefits outweigh the risks. Just to put your mind at rest a little? But please do discuss your concerns anyway, best to be safe.
Hello. I, too take medications that have potential interactions. When I asked the doctor, we were in the range of benefits out weigh the risks. It is always my choice, by the way, just as it is yours. A number of the meds have to be taken at a different time, including OTC like calcium. By spacing these properly and watching my timing, I do fine.
Definitely discuss with your doctor and pharmacist. Pharmacists are actually the watch dog if the doctor does not catch something. Very knowledgeable. I find your checking is very smart. It is important to be our own advocate and not follow blindly.
