Wow I just looked up the cost of the brand vs the generic, its incredible how different it is. It will be ok if you use the lesser concentration, but the frequency may be different so ask the pharmacist and he can get an order to switch from your doc. Try to get help with the finacea cost. The manufacturer is Intendis. They may have an assistance program. There are also several other places to try to get assistance with prescriptions.
