I have been taking Adderall for 20 years and have recently had a change in manufacturer it seems to be making me dizzy and does anyone else report the same issues?
brb1078; Yes this is possible the Adderall is the brand name and the other brand is a generic what you could do the next time you fill your prescription ask the Pharmacist if you can try a different brand then what you got last time and once you hit a brand or a few that work well for you try and let them know and stick with them. What happens is the generic has the same amount of active drug in it but they don't always have the exact binders because the brand name companies don't tell the generics what they have in them. but well worth the cost difference. What you might try many times if you eat a little before you take the medication it can help with nausea or dizziness. But they both have the main active ingredients. and until the FDA MAKES THE BRAND COMPANYS GIVE THE GENERIC COMPANYS WHAT THE INERT INGREDIENTS ARE WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS. bUT REMEMBER WHAT I SAID ABOUT ASK YOUR PHARMACIST ABOUT TRYING A DIFFERENT BRAND OF GENERIC AND KEEP A RECORD OF THE ONES THAT WORK THE BEST.AND IT SHOULD ALL WORK OUT BELIEVE ME I HAVE BEEN THERE TOO. YOU MAY EVEN CALL AND LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAND YOU GOT LAST TIME AND ASK THEM TO ORDER ANOTHER BRAND BEFORE YOU ARE DO TO REFILL YOUR PRESCRIPTION. HOPE THAT HELPS chuck1957
