I was prescribed tramadol 8 x 37.5mg for various pain issues but primarily severe migraines. First was good I'd take as needed then slowly over time I noticed I'd take it at the sign of a mild headache just to avoid any potential pain. Needless to say I realized not long ago my body now depended on it... so I've made the decision to get off of them. I'm on day 3 and the worst part to date is the restless legs that are preventing me from sleeping. Other than that I'm sneezing a lot and more lethargic. I'm wondering if I should be expecting worse things to come??
I once had someone tell me it takes 3 days to make a habit and 7 days to break a habit. Honestly I dont believe it. Everyone is different with different types of meds and how long they took them and how much. Please dont give up because I promise it will get better. It wont last forever. I am on day 5 and even though I am not asleep yet I promise I do feel better. Take vitamin and eat some banana so it might help with your RLS. I wish you all the best. It will get better and the ultimate goal is having your life back. Good luck and I wish you a successful path to recovery.
