I dont have money to pay for this answer or medical insurance. Can i use L.M.X.4 to treat my open staph bump.
I have absolutely no idea what it is you are asking about, but what you need is an antibiotic ointment like neosporin. Then you'd need to cleanse it well at least twice a day, then apply the ointment. If its in an area where the ointment would get rubbed off, or you have any drainage from the area, cover it with a dressing. If this does not work, or it gets worse and very red around it, you will have to see a dr for antibiotics.
LMX4 isnt going to do anything to help the infection! All LMX4 is is a numbing cream so it may help take pain away but it wont help your staph infection at all. You need to try an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin or Bacitracin. Treat it like kaismama said and if that doesnt help, you WILL need to see a Dr and I wouldnt wait more than a week. If you dont see any improvement in a week then you need to seek medical help. The cream you are using is worthless against infection. It may make it feel better by masking the pain but it is not helping at all.
